What a great kid! Tristen really impressed me in this interview. He's very much aware of the entire business side of the game yet he is very good natured, family oriented, and intelligent. The biggest thing that caught my ear was when he said that many kids love what football brings them but they don't truly love the game. He said he loves everything about it like practice and the hard work. I truly hope we get him. Seems like a difference maker on the field and in the locker room.

Miami was the first school he listed when reviewing his top options. He doesn't want to play in cold weather (ahem Hartline and O$U). Could be that he listed Miami first cause he was on a Miami podcast and he's telling the listeners what they want to hear or it could be that Miami really is the lead option for him, or both. But either way, just shows how aware he is about the business side.

Schools that stands out to him.

  • Miami. Raves about Cristobal. #1 offense. Putting 3 WRs in the combine. Not cold. Loves fishing.
  • L$U. Nearby
  • TAMU. Likes how offense is evolving from being run-centric.
  • Vols. Loves coaches.
  • Ole Miss. Great offense.

I just gotta say, I don't have the best public school education, but I definitely know how to read, or at least I thought so. Then, I clicked "continue reading"... and I couldn't!?
