Heard the samething about Fleming when he was at Southridge, not a hardworker. Which sucks bc dude is a cheetah. I wouldnt be surprise if hes faster than JT.

If we manage to close out with Greene or Flowe, the two Harrells, Francois, and Brown, that is a **** of a defensive class. Washington might have to be dropped and i liked Knowles senior tape at Edison better.

My feeling about this class is that its completely underestimated by the fanbase. That might change if we add a couple of these 4 stars like Greene, the Harrells, Francois, and Worsham.

The bigger issue is just how impossible it is to get top tier kids to wanna buy in. I believe the stats are a bit skewed since we generally play shlt competition, but the D has been good nonetheless.

Yet with all the sacks, TFL's, playing time available and etc. its literally impossible for them to lock up elite tier 1 talent. You have to at some point be able to go head to head and win at least SOME major recruiting battles like they did with G. Hall. Guys like Greene and Harrell should be instantly securing their spot in this class after coming from that complete dumpster fire at FSU. Yet here we are still hoping they come. Ole Miss was able to instantly flip Branch and get his commitment 48hrs within decomitting from Miami.

Constantly filling up classes with guys like Amari Carter, Derrick Smith, Jennings etc are nice power 5 players, but they will never get us anywhere close to winning the ACC

Ur kinda right, we miss too much. But if we start winning consistently that will change. Manny has been subpar this season, but i think hes the type of guy who figures things out. If we win the Coastal the next few years youll see the difference. Even with all the misses we are still the 2nd most talented team in the ACC.

I'll happily take all the disgruntled or misused kids like Phillips and Bolden in the portal. I don't think we ever get to a level where we are recruiting elite kids on the defense from the HS level. It's never happened during Manny and his staff's entire 4yrs. His trouble with LB recruiting alone is well documented. The big name guys are finally graduating and so far he has one impact kid in Cave and probably 2 guys who will provide depth

I hate being the optimists but Huff, Harvey, n Smith last year are all elite. C.Williams is elite this year and lets see how they close.

Like what I've seen early on from Stroud. He was a concern but his first class is a good one.

I will bite my tongue until after the early signing period. But will echo this simple sentiment games are won the trenches from the inside out starting at DT.

We have 1 DT in the 2020 class that staff is contemplating moving to OG. An then a DE/DT type who we hope will grow into a solid DT. The state of Florida is loaded at DT for 2020 but the war daddy types are going elsewhere.

The best way to stop any offense is with war daddy type DT'S that can walk a OC or OG straight back into a QB using leverage and grown man strength. An Florida's war daddy types are all leaving the state ( ie. Jalen Carter, Tim Smith, and Pinder is going to be a problem for UM everytime we play UNC it will be his superbowl)

Roberts will be a DT. He is already about 270. And there will be 8 DTs on the roster next year so its not like numbers are a issue.

Roberts is a DT and we signed three last year. We can always keep Moise at DT but I think the position is strong enough that you can move him to OL.

Have the staff talked about moving him to guard? It looks like they are going after other guys at the position
