Think the gap between the top 6/7 this year and everyone else will be massive. Us, Texas, 8-4, UGA, Bama, Buckeyes and SC.
Top classes will no doubt include bama uga osu Texas usc tamu. That’s 6. I think if we slot in at 7-9 we fvckin

We will be in the mix with those 6, truly believe that and I dont think we will necessarily be the last of the bunch either. I think come signing day the gap with those 7 and everyone else will be so great that people will start talking about an NIL arms race and regulations will be the topic of discussion. I expect those 7 team to land so many of the top prospects that all 7 might have 300pts on 247 and then see a big drop off even with UL signing their best class ever.

Don’t disagree at all. But those programs have serious recruiting juice right now

Finishing in the Top 5 this year will be extremely difficult.

In no particular order, Bama, Ohio Taint, UGA, and 8&4 are virtual locks to finish in the Top 5. That leaves one spot in the Top 5 with multiple programs competing for that spot, including Miami, USC, ND (currently #1 class), Texas, OU, Oregon and L$U. With the exception of Texas, each of these programs have new coaches leveraging the first year bump. Add traditional recruiting powerhouses such as Clemson and you start realizing finishing in the Top 5 is a tall order.

In my view, finishing in the Top 8 would be a heck of an accomplishment.

Multiple of those 3 stars should move up. Carver and Emory being the two most obvious.
Not disagreeing but every fan base feels the same way about their 3 stars and will be simultaneously pressuring recruiting sites to bump their players

Of course. Carver has already been touted by national guys as being in line to get bumped. Tripp is on the cusp and Emory is Elite 11 and has a great shot. The rest of them I think stay as they are
