I really hate this narrative. Not attacking you but it’s played out. Is x his bestfriend? 100%. Did he just dry decide to not workout the other wideouts? Heck no. Two way street. Keep in mind all those guys wanted Garcia to start no matter what Tyler did. They alienated themselves as much as he did. Heck I’m on campus everyday with one of the culprits

It wasnt just that, tvd with the play in other stadium comments then playing like crap against mtsu, it snowballed on him.. Maybe its a narrative and I guess you saying wr iced him out or whatever will provide counter but dude needs to ball out on field regardless.. He look like crap last year, I hope he is working with everyone this off season and we see results in a qb friendly offense come season time..

Not sure if you talking about me. What I posted was basically facts, whether it snowballed to a "narrative" or not. Even @JustAFanHTX post where he said players picked sides added context but it wasnt something made up..

Even more dysfunctional when you consider those WRs' position coach was the OC... though I wouldn't be surprised if some WRs on the roster had already picked "Team Garcia" before Gattis was hired.

They were that indeed already under coach lashlee. Remember coach lashlee went out and got Jake but ultimately picked Tyler. People think it was due to some injury setback or something with Jake but I know for a fact all things equal Tyler beat him out and was his guy no matter what when king went down

I remember when half this board had Garcia penciled in as the second team quarterback before the 2021 season simply because he looked great against the third string with no pass rush in the spring game. Whatever competition there was in practice, it must not have been that close because Tyler was locked in at QB2 the entire time.
