If interested above is the write-up I did on the offensive line back in December. The focus was primarily what we have coming back, though I touched on a few departures. Now it is time to turn our focus to our most recent signees and speculate as to how they might integrate into the team and ultimately impact our season.
We have three signees. Ereck Flowers, Danny Isidora, and Taylor Gadbois.
Here is an intro for Ereck! Quick interview.

There isn’t much video of Taylor out there. But here is what I found. It is from his senior year in high school, I believe. Keep in mind he did spend a season a Fork Union Military Prep School.

Let me address the 700lb guerrilla in the room, Kehoe and Swasey have a huge job to do. Quite frankly I am nervous for Al Golden and his Hurricanes given recent history and track records. But here we are. Rather than rehash an old article let’s just jump in.
These guys look like our starting five provided they are healthy heading into spring and work hard.
Tackles- Henderson and Feliciano
Guards- Linder and Bunche
Center- McDermott
I expect there to be fierce competition along the OL. On the one hand I feel very dismissive of the three signees we have coming in. Ofcourse, like any good drama, that would be foolish to do. First of all, we have two of the three signees on campus now. If you looked at Ereck’s weight lifting video you aren’t likely to be impressed. It was only 3 plates on each side which is only 315lbs. Yes I saw the other small plate that looked like a 5 or 10 pounder, so yeah Ill bump that 1 press to 325. He needs to get stronger, but guess what . . . he is on campus now. Taylor is a year out of high school. While I don’t have any footage of him in the weight room, I’ll tell you from firsthand knowledge that the year in between hs and college is huge in development. I fully expect Taylor to have gotten bigger and stronger over the last 9 months since graduating high school. The bottom line in my eye’s is simple. We have a guy a year removed from high school that from all accounts is a nasty **** with a mean streak. Ereck passes the eye ball test, and being on campus now is so important. Graduating early also indicates he has ambition and intelligence! Those are two great traits to have. I know Coach Golden needed some guys to come early, but he didn’t need just anyone coming early. He has two OL in early. Can they come in and help? I think the picture will be clearer come the end of spring ball, but I won’t be surprised to see one of these two get a little burn this year even if we stay healthy. If we have any injuries these two may play more than expected or desired! I expect Danny to redshirt simply because OL is traditionally a tough spot to play early.
What do you all think about the returning line and our three new signees?
