Well, the release on the NCAA site is definitely something that could favor us moreso than hurt the program. However, the delay in the investigation completion cannot be a good thing for current and future recruiting efforts. It seems to extend the cloak of negative recruiting darkness on Golden.

this would help our negative recruiting IMO bc a lot of what they have they cant use. so the nightmare scenarios that Jimbob and Muschump and other coaches r throwing out there cannot be true.

Statement from Shalala
“Since the University first alerted the NCAA to the possibility of violations more than two years ago, we have been cooperative and compliant with the NCAA and, I believe, a model for how institutions should partner with NCAA staff during investigations. In addition to encouraging current and former staff members and student-athletes to cooperate with investigators, we have provided thousands of documents to the enforcement staff.

I am frustrated, disappointed and concerned by President Emmert’s announcement today that the integrity of the investigation may have been compromised by the NCAA staff.

As we have done since the beginning, we will continue to work with the NCAA and now with their outside investigator hoping for a swift resolution of the investigation and our case.

I want to thank our community for their continued support and patience.

Stand with the U.”

Donna just smoothly moved her queen across the board and checkmated those ho's at the NCAA

SIAP but I just read an article that said that Pee Wee's deposition was conducted by Nevin's attorney on behalf of the NCAA. I just read it somewhere among all the articles or tweets in the last hour, will try to link

I have listend to Mark Emmert's teleconference and I can tell you it is looking great for us. I would be shocked if we get any additional penalties, period. What was done inside the NCAA is shockingly improper and egregious.
Edit:
Get this: The NCAA was investigating a person for his involvement in inappropriate student athletes benefits, then hire his attorney to collect information to collaborate his story using unrelated ongoing investigation!! Wow!

I knew something was up with this tweet. It all makes sense now.

One key person in the investigation has been former Miami equipment-room staffer Sean Allen, who was deposed by Perez as part of Shapiro's bankruptcy proceedings. If the NCAA found it could not use the information gleaned in that particular deposition, that would be a development figuring to favor the Hurricanes

Unreal. I'm absolutely floored. This should be breaking news on every sports outlet. Not a side note. SMH.

Someone's getting suspended from the practice of law! Ms. Perez, I need some yard work done if you're looking for work during your downtime.

Theoretically this is true but you know those clowns are going to continue to beat the "pending sanctions" drum until we officially know our fate. The downside to today's news is that it likely delays the process.

My crawl space needs to be cleaned up a bit. It's a bit mucky down there. Min. wage sounds reasonable.

I think it needs to be said that the NCAA has bungled this at the same time as the member institution they were investigating was cooperating fully. I would imagine that, more than ever, they can't come down on us too hard, or else it will be up in lights (and I will personally make a sign for every televised game we play):

Never
Cooperate
with these
Assholes
Again

LMAO @ the ncaa paying and working with the rats attorney all this time. This is too good to be true

Didn't the attorney chick also work closely with Charles Robinson during his 'investigation'? You'd think that would be the last person you'd want on your payroll if you're the NCAA. No degrees of separation at all between your investigation and Shapiro and his lackey Robinson.

I can imagine the brass at Ohio State and USC are burning up the phone lines with their legal counsel to see if they can leverage this to their benefit and ***** the NCAA.

This is a sh*tstorm for the NCAA and it's just beginning.
