Can confirm there has been major Miami interest here.

NEW UPDATE AFTER SPEAKING WITH HARUN:

Said the decommitment from Indiana was 100% due to Mike Woodson retiring -- he had a great relationship with Woodson, but will speak to new coach in the coming days.

When asked about Miami, Zrno said his Miami-based agent Stevan Petrovic calls all the time to tell him he's "sitting on the beach with sunglasses drinking his coffee" and Harun added that sounds pretty appealing to him as well, with a laugh.

"I don’t need to say much about the city. It's one of the most beautiful cities in the world."

Zrno says he is speaking with Coach Jai Lucas pretty much every other day, and is working with his family to set up a visit to Coral Gables immediately. The visit will be made once he obtains his visa, he said.

Maryland and Penn State visits potentially as well, but things seemed further down the line with Miami at this point.

More notes from our convo:

Zrno is 21 years old. Said he knows he is a little bit older than the normal player entering college, so development and skill improvement is the first thing he wants from a coaching staff and school.

He said as is the case in most Balkan countries, soccer was his forst sport and he didn't start playing basketball until the age of 15.

Bogdan Bogdanovic is his favorite player -- said he grew up watching him and trying to copy his shot because he didn’t have coaches telling him the correct way to shoot. Zrno said he essentially learned how to shoot a basketball by watching tape of Bogdanovic.

His goal is to play in the NBA, and said that Jai Lucas is recruiting him with the intention of playing him with the ball or off the ball, as he hopes to continue expanding his playmaking role. Zrno said for the first time this season, he played in more of a point guard/facilitator role which allowed the offense to run through him. He averaged 20.7 ppg, 3.3 assists, 3 rpg for KK Slavija in Bosnia this season.

He said when he played in Latvia a couple years ago, he was asked to stand in the corner as more of a catch and shoot player, and believes his skillset is better suited to Lucas' vision of his game.

UPDATE: Just spoke to Harun's agent Stevan Petrovic of Agency55. Harun is at practice right now but I'll be talking to him later today.

Petrovic expects Zrno to have 4 years of eligibility (pending NCAA official ruling). Considered an ELITE Shooter, great catch and shoot player who has the ability to set his feet quickly and come off screens.

Current season averages...20.7 PPG, (61% from 3), 3 rpg, 3.3 assists for KK Slavija in the Bosnian League. He is 6'6" 210

I'll have more tidbits from the conversation with Petrovic later today and update with Zrno quotes. Petrovic has a relationship with Andrew Moran and I believe that could go a long way not only with Zrno but potentially more of Petrovic's Euro clients. (Petrovic says he's based 10 minutes from Coral Gables)

Yea this would be a good take. Shooting is the most translatable quality in competition, no matter the level.

At the very least, you know you get somebody who can stretch the floor and provide spacing...at an elite level.
