Miami's loaded weekend visitor list for 3/29

Miami is hosting some of the top-talent in the country this weekend for unofficial visits. Nearly 40 players will make the trip to Coral Gables for the weekend, capped off by the staff throwing a pool party for all the recruits. Here’s who will be in attendance minus the players committed elsewhere who have not publicly announced their visit:

Kicking off the stacked recruit list for this upcoming weekend’s visitors is a trifecta from Mater Dei: 5-star WR Ohio State commit Chris Henry Jr. (CA), 4-star DT Oregon commit Tomuhini Topui (CA), and 4-star LB Shaun Scott (CA). Despite both Henry and Topui being committed, Miami is working hard as they try and flip the California pair.

Heading the defensive side is 5-star OT/DT Lamar Brown (LA). He’s considered the No.1 player coming out of Louisiana for the 2026 cycle, playing both sides of the trenches. Brown has strong interest from top-tier SEC schools, so Miami will really have to battle to get his commitment here.

Other notable 2026 D-Line recruits attending are 4-stars Jake Kreul (FL) and Vodney Cleveland (AL). I was able to watch Kreul first hand at the UA Next camp in Miami, he has a polished pass rush technique and steps up against top competition. Like Brown, Cleveland will also be a battle to pull out of SEC territory and same goes for James Morrow (GA).

Flipping to the other side of the trenches, where the position with the most recruits this weekend is once again the O-Line. The 2026 class is stacked with offensive line talent, and Miami looks primed to take their pick of the bunch. Florida natives Canon Pickett, Ryan Miret, Breck Kolojay, Chancellor Campbell, G’Nivre Carr, Rhys Woodrow, and Da’Ron “Doodles” Parks will all be in attendance.

A pair of 2026 out-of-state wideouts will make the trip down this weekend in the form of 4-stars Corey Barber (AL) and Zion Robinson (TX). Both have intriguing profiles with Barber being a speed guy and Robinson being a target man with his 6-foot-4 frame.

Georgia product Amari Latimer will be the only RB in attendance, and it remains uncertain who the ’Canes will get as their second running back of the class.

Rounding out the offensive side of things, Miami will have two tight end prospects in attendance. The first being a pure TE prospect, Zachary Turner out of Texas, and the second being a more intriguing profile with Georgia product ATH Heze Kent. At 6-foot-7 and nearly 300 pounds, it’s unknown whether Kent will stick to TE or move to OL.

Sticking with another ATH prospect this time on the defensive side of the ball, 3-star Duyon Forkpa will be in attendance. He profiles most likely as a linebacker, which is a position that will be well-represented this weekend. Other linebacker prospects include 4-stars Jacob Eberhart (MO) and Malik Morris (FL).

The strongest part of Miami’s 2026 class is it’s secondary, and the Hurricanes look to add with the group they’re bringing in this weekend which is headlined by 4-stars Chauncey Kennon (FL), Nassir “Nascar” McCoy (GA), and Jordan Thomas (NJ). All three are high-level corners who Miami will have to compete with top schools for their commitments.

Closing out the main visitors, the ’Canes will have three of their commits on “recruiting duty” this weekend, with their last three commits reporting for duty on the weekend. OL Ben Congdon, CB Jaelen Waters, and last week's RB Javian Mallory will represent Miami well for the 2026 class this weekend. It’ll be interesting to see who possibly joins them as part of the class this weekend.

Others attending on unofficial visits this weekend: 2026 K Owen Carey,2027 OL Sean Tatum, 2028 DL Asher Ghioto, and 2028 OL Charlie Pisani.

This article will be updated as other recruits make their visit public.

Practice week visits have equaled early commitments. Do we get on out of this group this Sat? I think we do.

Da’ron “doodles” park is a definite take, for. Nickname alone
