Miami staying close late in first half despite airball hopeless Brandon doing everything to help Syracuse

This is starting to feel like a winnable game.
They are playing like they are about to win this game. Probably their best half of basketball all year.

43-37 at the half.
Feel like the lead should be bigger but it's a lead and I am not going to complain.

10 to go, Miami blows the lead, regains the lead, Brandon makes 2 errors and Syracuse up by 3. He's not the only one playing badly a lot of time, but he seems more crappy than anyone.

A frustrating sequence for him and Kidd who looked horrible for a stretch there on both ends.

Let's get back after it here.

Along with some bad passing... missed opportunities

This team just doesn't understand how to consistently make winning plays. Let's be honest, every game is a struggle, mostly because people take turns doing stupid crap. What saved Miami tonight was the fact that Syracuse is beyond bad as well. It was nice to see Bethea do something, but honestly, it shouldn't have taken him this long to flash.

I think he's a guy that needs a lot more development than he thinks he needs, and if he chooses to go pro after this season, he will end up a fringe player. He should look to stay in college another year or two, really get serious about developing into a complete player, because he isn't close right now.

Technically, Bill Courtney is on a 2 game winning streak. The Louisville loss was during his sick leave.
A few more games and he might earn himself an interview for the job.
Don't get too carried away, I said an interview and not give him the job.

Cleveland has been sensational of late. Djobet has quietly played well off the bench

I know you're joking, but let's not get any ideas.

Something I'll never understand about Cleveland. He's had these stretches at both Miami and FSU, and yet the teams are always awful. It's like he's the modern version of Antawn Jamison(Well, once he got to the NBA), a guy that can put up numbers, but it never results in winning. I'm happy he's one of the few guys giving consistent effort, but that little observation has bugged me the last two years.
