Miami opens as a slight favorite over Iowa State in the Pop Tarts Bowl

Miami hasn't won 11 games since 2003, but Vegas believes it has a good chance this year. The Hurricanes have emerged as a slight favorite over Iowa State in the Pop Tarts Bowl.

FanDuel has the Canes as a 1.5-point favorite with a total of 57.5. Kickoff is set for Saturday, Dec. 28, at 3:30 EST (ABC) at Camping World Stadium.

According to ESPN Analytics, Miami has an 68.7 percent chance of beating Iowa State.

I hate these “Favorite” projections. Makes every opponent want to make it their superbowl, every opposing two* QB a have a heisman performance against us.
