The Miami Hurricanes’ 2025 season opener against Notre Dame will kick off on Sunday, August 31 at Hard Rock Stadium, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Thursday.

As part of a conference-wide announcement of game times for Week 0 and Week 1 on ACC PM, Miami’s opener was unveiled for a 7:30 p.m. EDT kickoff on ABC.

Miami’s last Sunday season opener was its 2018 game against LSU at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas as part of the Advocare Classic.

In Notre Dame’s most recent visit to Hard Rock Stadium to play the Hurricanes, No. 7 Miami demolished the No. 3 Fighting Irish, 41-8, on November 11, 2017.

Season tickets for the Canes’ eight-game 2025 home schedule, including Notre Dame, are now available. Waitlists are also now open for group seating and individual game suite options that will become available in the coming weeks and months.

For individual game suites, Hurricane Club Members will receive priority access to purchase suite rentals beginning on April 1 based on membership level and priority points. Individual game tickets for the game will become available in Summer 2025.

Lots of unknowns on both sides. People **** on the atmosphere at the Rock… but night games get loud, especially playing someone we hate like ND. This game gonna be electric. First we winning the tailgate, then the game.
