Miami native and Louisville alum Teddy Bridgewater will be honored at today's game by the Cardinals. Bridgewater is the current head coach at Northwestern High School in Miami, where he is an alum

A top high school recruit in the country, Bridgewater was once a Miami commit before decommitting and joining Louisville football program. Bridgwater was the Big East Offensive Player of the Year, and ended his collegiate career with a win over Miami in the Russell Athletic Bowl.

Bridgewater was a 2014 first round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings and played for seven teams during his ten seasons in the NFL.

Bridgewater, like the Canes, will board a flight back home after the game. Let's hope Bridgewater is going back to 71st street with a Cardinal loss.

Jumped ship when Shannon was fired.

We did what we had to do. But I wish Bridge stuck with us.

He was one of Clint Hurtt’s guys right? Him, Eli Rogers and Amari Cooper…? Once we cut ties with Clint they all let Miami go?
