Miami’s recruiting momentum continues, as they secured a pivotal commitment from 4-star wide receiver, Ny Carr, this Sunday afternoon.
The highly-coveted Carr spent the weekend visiting Miami's campus before making the decision to call it his football home for his collegiate career. This move doesn’t just add another player to Miami's roster but signals an acquisition of one of the nation's elite receiving talents.
Standing at 5’11 and weighing 168 pounds, Carr is rated as the #53 overall player in the country, and the #11 wide receiver, according to the 247sports composite rankings.
It’s noteworthy that he previously pledged his allegiance to the Georgia Bulldogs. Auburn was also in the race to land the talented receiver, making Miami’s win all the more impressive.
Playing his high school ball at Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, Georgia, Carr has already showcased his skills against some of the toughest competition in the Peach State.
With his commitment, Carr becomes the 23rd commit of the Miami Hurricanes' 2024 recruiting class. He'll join the ranks of JoJo Trader and Chance Robinson, solidifying an already impressive receiver unit for the upcoming season. The Hurricanes' coaching staff and fans alike will no doubt be eagerly waiting to see the trio in action.
