Miami going with camo end zones for Military appreciation week

It's Military Appreciation Week at the University of Miami, and the Canes have decided to honor the military by painting the endzone in camouflage when they face off against the Duke Blue Devils tomorrow.

anyone know why we have such dinky "MIAMI" text in the end zones? I know we leave it as Miami for both teams, but surely we could do some large scale Miami cool end zone design. We share orange and white colors with the phins, it's not that hard.

I doubt that Hard Rock wants to spend a lot of money on end zone paint for something that won't be there past Saturday...

I get where you're coming from but you're telling me every major CFB and Pro team has no problem spending the money on nice looking end zones, but the mighty Hard Rock entertainment complex can't??? and we're talking an extra $500/week in paint.. pulling that # out of my ***, but I can't imagine its over $1,000 in paint per week

You're forgetting about labor...

Look, I was partially joking, but it may actually be true, who knows. I agree with you, it looks like a freaking Pop Warner end zone paint job as it is.
