The Miami men’s team finished tenth overall with 22 points at this year’s national championships — establishing the team’s highest finish and most points scored in program history.

Miami jumper Russell Robinson gave an incredible performance in the men’s triple jump — ending with a school record and personal best 17.13m (56 feet, 2.5 inches) to claim the silver medal, adding eight points the men’s team.

Robinson left it all out on the field, jumping over 17 meters twice in the six attempts given.

Hurricanes thrower Milton Ingraham II achieved First Team All-American honors as well in his signature event, the men’s discus. Ingraham II threw a mark of 59.74m (196 feet) for a seventh place finish and two points to the men’s team.

Christina Warren will be the final Hurricane to compete in this year’s national championships. The Miami jumper will compete in Saturday’s triple jump, scheduled for 5:50 p.m. eastern time.

Did Any football players run this year? Why did we stop encouraging our players to run, I go back to that video during covid where Ed Reed, Andre, Reggie Wayne, Santana, Marshall Faulk, Tedd Ginn all giving Curtis Johnson his flowers and Reggie, Ed and Dre emphatically talked about how Curtis encouraged all of them to run track! Reggie said he wasnt even a track guy but he got alot of value out of it..

:snoopfacepalm:

The full video can only be watched on youtube because of nfl but they had clips like this to get an idea

Exactly with those 2024 combine times all skill guys should train with track rather they compete or not. I'm speaking from experience those football offseason workouts was nothing compared to when I ran track.
