Miami basketball unranked in new AP Poll; Canes receiving votes

Miami Hurricanes basketball coach Jim Larranaga has rebuilt his roster from the bottom up for the 2024-25 season.

Despite all this turnover, Miami will come into the new AP basketball Poll unranked. Based on the "receiving votes" calculation, Miami would be ranked No. 38 in the country.

There is a good argument to be made that Coach L does his best work with this kind of team. We were unranked at the start of both of our final four and elite eight seasons.
 
Hoopsters collapse last season will not get the benefit of the doubt.....they're going to need a stellar non conference run to get noticed again......
