Jai Lucas is actively working in the transfer portal. The new head coach of Miami has secured a third addition to his roster for the 2025-26 season.

On Friday, TCU transfer Ernest Udeh Jr. announced his commitment to the Hurricanes via Instagram. He joins Michigan transfer guard Tre Donaldson and Indiana transfer forward Malik Reneau.

Udeh played in all 29 games during his sophomore year, averaging 4.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. He also led the team in blocks. In the 2024-25 season, the Orlando, FL native averaged 6.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 1.4 steals.

Ernest boasts a 63.4% field goal percentage and a 56.1% free throw percentage, but he hasn't attempted a three-pointer in his three seasons of college basketball.
