The Canes went to one of its top feeder schools with the signing of Miami Central LB Ezekiel Marcelin. Like fellow Miami signee Amari Wallace, Marcelin is a four-year starter for the Rockets who has flashed high-end instincts since his freshman year. He is also the team captain and showed much improved coverage ability during his senior year.
While his team’s senior season was cut short due to FHSAA issues, as a junior Marcelin compiled 109 tackles, 19 TFLs and 12 sacks. The three-star product, who played with Coach Duasso and @Stevo365's RAW Miami program, chose the Canes over Stanford, Penn State and Pittsburgh.
