Kyshawn George receives high praise from Draymond Green

Washington Wizards rookie and former Miami Hurricane Star, Kyshawn George went nose to nose with Warriors star Draymond Green last night, even though George and his Wizards team came up short, 125-112, George and fellow Wizard rookie, Bub Carrington received high praise.

“That’s the first time we’ve seen a Washington Wizards team play that hard in years, and it’s because of [Bub and Kyshawn’s] energy.” - Said Draymond Green post-game.

Last night in the loss, George posted 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists on 7-19 shooting including 6-17 from the three point line. This was Georges third start of the year in six games. So far Kyshawn is averaging 7.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists per game while shooting 31.5% from the field and 20.5% from three.

Kyshawn George and Draymond Green jawed back and forth all night. Here is another interesting quote from Draymond post game of their interactions.

Kyshawn told Draymond, “You can’t shoot.”

Draymond: “When you were in elementary school, you were watching me win a championship and people were thinking that same thing.”

Kyshawn: “Yeah, I don’t care.”
