Jaelan Phillips is officially back with the Miami Dolphins after missing last season due to an Achilles injury. During a media availability for the Dolphins, he was asked about Miami, and here was his response:
“The Canes are back, baby. I’m stamping it now.” said Phillips.
Phillips, who was selected in the first round of the 2021 draft, is entering his fourth season with the Dolphins. He had 43 tackles and 6.5 sacks last season and looked like one of the best young pass rushers in the league. However, his season was abruptly interrupted when he sustained an Achilles tendon injury in the eighth game. He is expected to return this season.
