Isaiah Horton had the best game of his career against USF, with 8 catches for 108 yards and a TD. He met with reporters to discuss his performance:

On whether he caught the TD that got reversed: Yeah, I think I did. The ref, he thought I did, too, but it's cool. My running back is going to punch it in for me, so we’re good.

On what went right for him tonight: The offensive scheme from Coach Dawson. We worked it all week. He put us in the right positions to make the right plays. Coach KB is teaching us the right techniques. We watch film on the techniques of the DBs. USF gave us a dogfight at the beginning. They're a great team. You never want to underestimate an opponent. We kept going, and we found the way to bring it out at the end.

On his improvement: I just take it day by day. Get 1% better every day. Keep getting better. I never want to be satisfied, and I'm not even satisfied with tonight.

On his teammates: I want to push them to be as great as they can. I want them to push me to my limit, and I want to push all my teammates to be the best they can be. I want to be out there together, and I want us to all shine. I want them to shine before I do.

Every week, somebody's going to step up. We all put that work in during the week. We all want to be great and we all push each other to be great.

On where he’s seen the most growth as a team: The little things. I’m really big on just doing simple things better. Don't try to look for the big play. Just keep doing routine plays and turn the routine plays into big plays. That was the difference maker in the game.

On Xavier Restrepo: He deserves the [100-yard games record], for sure. He's humble. He grinds. He works. That's all I see from him. And that's really where I got it from. I came in as a freshman. He took me under his wing. He's a great human being. He deserves that.

On Cam Ward: It’s awesome playing with Cam Ward. That guy, he's incredible. I knew that from the jump. As soon as he got on the campus, he just made his mark instantly. It's amazing. And I'm blessed to be here.
