2015 Westminster Christian (Fla.) Athlete Tim Irvin is working hard this offseason to not only improve his game, but also working on getting his team better as well.

Irvin has been doing 7-on-7’s with his travel team the Hard Knocks and also is exercising with his high school team.

“I have been playing with the Hard Knocks by getting my skills better on both offense and defense and I’m also in the weight room as a team, we are working hard to get to states next year.”

Irvin has a serious impact on both sides of the ball as he can play multiple positions including running back, wide receiver, cornerback and safety. However, he does not have a preference to any position.

“I just like playing football, what ever a college or school want’s me to play I will play it. I don’t really have a set position yet so I like being on both sides of the ball.

Irvin has a tremendous skill set but can’t seem to pick a favorite since he feel’s he has so many.

“That’s a hard question I think it’s running with the ball in my hands, or making tackles and returning punts and kickoffs. I just like coming up and making a play when my team needs me.”

Irvin is already on the radar of many top schools including Alabama, Miami, Cincinnati, Georgia and Michigan State. One school that Irvin is particularly interested in is the Crimson Tide.

“My Uncle told me is a strict program and it’s about business and it’s only business everyday. I’m going to the camp this summer and I want to see about the academics.”

Irvin does have an interest for the hometown Miami Hurricanes and talked a little bit about what he likes about them.

“Miami is a great place and I really like the coaches there with Coach Golden and all the others.”

one factor that Miami has that others schools don’t is how Irvin’s cousin happens to be one of the most prominent Miami Hurricanes of all-time in Michael Irvin.

“He tell me everything about Miami and how I should stay home, I just tell him I want to play football and I don’t care where at. He also tells me about how when he was there it was a family and how that hasn’t changed and everyone comes back. “

Travis Rudolph could learn something from young Irvin.

better hope he gets the right name tag when he comes

Name tag for him and his cousin (Michael Irvin Jr 2016) should be labeled CANE for their respective junior days. No position needed

Mike will cut the **** outta that kid if he goes somewhere else

Cedric Irvin will be pushing Bama for this kid. Hopefully Michael starts getting more involved because Uncle Ced is a Saban guy

Sounds like yet another band wagon jumper. If we win, we win.

Doesn't sound super high on us, but we got two years to win so that should help

I am very confident that he will be a Miami Hurricane when all is said and done.

Good player not great but either way don't want him on my team. Give me JR

Doral?

I'm pretty sure they all played for richmond heights. Saw him play at the 7v7 at St. Thomas university. Both him and Dionte Mullins (Freshman, Gulliver Prep), were the only players from hard knocks that started both ways. Played very well. Made a lot of plays coming out of the back field, and when lined up in the slot.
