Your University of Miami Hurricanes is up at half against the Ball State Cardinals 31-0

Ball State kicked off the game with a strong drive down the field, but they hit a wall on a crucial 3rd down against the Miami Hurricanes defensive line, allowing the Canes to seize control right after.

Ward is just doing Cam Ward stuff, Ward completed 17 out of 25 passes in the first half, gaining 317 yards and scoring four touchdowns. His receivers and tight ends are making a huge deal in why he is dotting the Card's defense up, Arroyo, Restrepo twice, and Chris Johnson all got a touchdown from a pass.

However, the Hurricane's run game is getting stuffed and has not shown much in the first half, Flecther leads the rushing with 3 carries and 10 yards.

Linebacker Wesley Bissainthe is making big plays for this Hurricanes defense, he leads the team in tackles as he already racked up five tackles and Simeon Barrow along with Tyler Baron has 1.5 tackles for loss.

Check out and read up on the stats before action returns at Hard Rock:

Solid first half. Hope Cooper is ok. Why Cristobal plays and not Samson makes me wonder. The officials suck. Very bad. 31 hit was a great play and because todays ball is so soft they threw a flag. The Bell call was horrible. Run the score up and get the young players on the field.

Don't understand why the running game can't get going...

Easy, were down 3 starters right now. Also we are missing Cohen and Matt Lee from last years team. Those guys were the heart of our running game

Maybe, maybe not. But 16yds at near half I'd not something to be "easy" about bro

It’s how they are playing us. We will be fine. The good news is a team can take one area away and we still excel.
I know we'll be fine... that has nothing to do with why we had close to 16yds near half time.

I just told you the problem lol. Do what you want with that. 3 starters are out and we don't have Matt Lee and Cohen anymore. We didn't run the ball well against Florida either and Texas A&M ran over 200 yards on that Gators front by halftime

Yup... so we're not running the ball well. You're correct. I don't give a **** if we have 3 starters out. You're telling me if we have a few starters out we shouldn't be able to run the ball against Ball ******* State for more than 40yds in a half? OK... but I guess you're good with that so all is good and understood.
Whatever man

People need to actually stfu about the running game. We haven’t been running it enough to have a consistent running game. It also doesn’t help that when Dawson runs it, he just does it up the middle. Obviously we won’t run for big plays 😂😂😂. All three teams have been making it extremely easy for us to air it out. When healthy, our oline is without a doubt better than last season. Our running back room is loaded. People seem to forget that Martinez was a top 10 back lack season lol. These guys just need to continue to get reps and they will start to heat up
