Good news on Robert Burns

Was told yesterday that freshman running back Robert Burns will be available for spring practice after undergoing a small procedure on his foot right when he got on campus.

Burns has apparently been very disciplined with his rehab and has impressed with his work ethic early on. His availability will be big for spring practice as Miami'a running back situation will look very different after Mark Walton next season.

Burns will ultimately be a FB when it's all said & done. Could give us a lot of versatility in that space

Hopefully the kid stays healthy and can show something this season. He could get passed up real quick in 2018 with Lingard and Davis coming in.

Got my fingers crossed on Burns. He's everything you want in a RB physically and athletically, so hopefully the injury history has just been bad luck.

I think this Summer will be Homer's coming out party, but I'm excited to see what Burns can do.

I know Burns from Gulliver and his work ethic, maturity, and drive for his age is incredible. I've been telling y'all for two years that despite his injury history, he will surprise you guys.
