A trio of former Hurricane coaches are Super Bowl champions.

Former Canes OL coach Jeff Stoutland, former DL coach Clint Hurtt and former TE coach Joe Pannunzio earned rings Sunday as members of the Philadelphia Eagles staff. Stoutland has been with the Eagles since 2013, and is currently serving as their offensive line coach and run-game coordinator. He is considered one of the best offensive line coaches in the sport.

Hurtt joined the Eagles in 2024 after spending seven years with the Seahawks. He is a Canes alum and served as defensive line coach for the school from 2006-2009.

Pannunzio, the Eagles' assistant special teams coordinator, has spent the past eight years with the team. Both Pannunzio and Stoutland were part of the 2018 Super Bowl champion staff.

Stoutland was Miami's OL coach from 2007-2010 under Randy Shannon and also the team's interim head coach for the Sun Bowl his last season. He recruited several NFL offensive lineman to Coral Gables, including Brandon Linder, Jon Feliciano, Seantrel Henderson, and Brandon Washington. Hurtt coached Calais Campbell and recruited NFL players such as Allen Bailey. Pannunzio played a major role in recruiting and signed TE Clive Walford, who became a finalist for the Mackey Award as the nation's best tight end.

No mention in the article of former player and coach Clint Hurtt.

Is this race related?
Yeah not saying it’s race related but I immediately said where’s Clint Hurtt?

A pair of former Hurricane coaches are Super Bowl champions for the second time.

You gotta go back and add Clint Hurtt. He's Philly's defensive line coach. His name is even mentioned in the tweet you linked.

Is this even a thread worthy topic?

Jeff is not an alum, coached here for a couple of yrs before going to Bama winning 2 Nat’l Titles w/ them which caught the eye of the NFL, & he coached here 15 yrs ago.

Joe has **** the same identical story of Jeff.

This article should’ve only highlighted Hurtt, who not only coached here, but is an alum & former student athlete (before a knee injury killed his career).

I know it’s the off season, but come on.

We need to pick their run scheme and incorporate that.

It was my fault. Trinton initially wrote the story on Stoutland and I added Pannunzio. Forgot Hurtt was there because he spent so much time with the Seahawks (Stoutland and Pannunzio were in Philly prior to this season).

The story has been revised.

Does the Tweet revise too??
