The University of Miami men’s basketball team (6-22, 2-15 ACC) fell to the No. 2/2 Duke Blue Devils (25-3, 16-1 ACC), 97-60, Tuesday night at the Watsco Center.

All eight Hurricanes who saw action in the game tallied a bucket, paced by graduate student Lynn Kidd who poured in 17 points for his 16th double-digit outing of the season.

Freshman Divine Ugochukwu totaled a career-high 10 rebounds against the Blue Devils, becoming the first Miami freshman to record 10-plus rebounds in a game since Isaiah Wong hauled in 12 on Feb. 19, 2020.

Bethea tallied 11 of his 13 total points in the first half, but the Blue Devils were extremely efficient on offense, connecting on 61.5 percent (8-of-13) of their 3-point attempts to lead 47-32 at halftime.

Duke’s Isaiah Evans knocked down five 3-pointers in the first half alone to lead all scorers with 16 points at the halftime break.

The Blue Devils held the Hurricanes to just four field goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half, while simultaneously shooting 52.9 percent to lead 71-40 at the midway point of the frame.

Duke ultimately outscored Miami 50-28 in the second half to come away with the 97-60 victory.

Miami hits the road to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 12 p.m. and the game will air on ESPN.

Just as long as their effortless game tonight didn’t make Jai Lucas reconsider. There is no fight out of this team. Fanbase has given up too as it felt like half of the 60% full Watsco was wearing blue. This season can’t end quick enough.

That any of these guys are collecting NiL is embarrassing.

Kidd might have been hurt but he was just loafing setting screens. Brandon Johnson is probably the worst shooting 4 we've rostered in my memory. It looked like on multiple incidents guys were dogging each other over missed assignments.

We are dead last in the country (or so the announcer said) in 3 point defense
