Desmond Howard forecasts Miami to be in the College Football Playoff on ESPN College GameDay
Football is officially back today, as College GameDay was live from Dublin for Florida State versus Georgia Tech. Analyst and former Michigan WR Desmond Howard included the Hurricanes in his 12-team College Football Playoff lineup.
Howard put the Hurricanes as a three-seed, as you can see in the full bracket above:
Miami has bolstered its roster with the one of the best running backs in college football joining the squad, Damien Martinez, and wide receiver, Sam Brown. This addition significantly strengthens the team's offensive capabilities, which are already recognized as among the most potent in the league. The team's offensive line, which is regarded as one of the best in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), will be further enhanced by these transfers. With the addition of Martinez, a 1,000-yard rusher, and a trio of 800-plus yard receivers in Brown, Xavier Restrepo, and Jacolby George, respectively, Miami's offense, which was already ranked in the top 25, is poised to achieve even greater success in the upcoming 2024 season.
