Former Miami Hurricane Deon Bush is headed back to the Super Bowl.

Bush, who won a ring with the Chiefs in 2022, re-signed this off-season on a one-year deal. He was released on August 27, 2024, but later re-signed to the practice squad. Last week, he was called up to join the 53-man roster to help the Chiefs to get to the Super Bowl. In last night's victory over the Bills, he made one tackle.

During his time at Miami, Bush racked up 168 total tackles, 13 pass deflections, and four interceptions. He earned All-ACC Third Team honors in 2015 and received Honorable Mention three times.

The Chiefs opened as a 1.5-point favorite over the Eagles on FanDuel Sportsbook with a total of 49.5 in Super Bowl LIX.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that schools promote having a guy on a team that’s in the Super Bowl?
