Cracks starting to show in FSU recruiting; new RB on UM's radar

**Like many would expect it might, the poor start at FSU is beginning to effect recruiting. Sources close to the situation tell CIS that at least one FSU commit is starting to have doubts and begin to waver and that's IMG OL Dontae Lucas. Lucas had previously been keeping Miami as an option despite his commitment to FSU in the spring (Lucas visited UM's campus this summer), but was still expected to sign with the Seminoles in the end. Now, that's much more in doubt. If Miami continues to push here, they have a good shot at the flip.

**Miami is evaluating and talking over offering 2020 RB Henry Parrish from Columbus. The 5'10" 175 pound RB has only one offer so far (from FAU), but UM has shown interest in him in the past and brought him in on a visit over the spring. He'll be a prospect to keep an eye on over the next few months.

Lucas seems like a kid who is front runner. Don’t surprise me. If we beat FSU, we then put the nail in the coffin in them

I know its hella early, but any idea who fits where on that RB board out of Chaney, Bowman & Parrish? Is it likely to be a two back class regardless of what happens in this class? Or is it dependent on what happens in this class?

Dontae Lucas? Not Dent, Howell, or Quashon?

Not that you should really ever look too much into a recruits' tweets, but FWIW, that tweet was posted before the FSU-Syracuse game. This was an update gleaned a day after that game.

True, I still dont think Lucas flips. He has been their biggest recruiter(Coaches Included) since he committed.

FR. I'm trying to Nab that QB commit they got, lol.
I’m legit heated...I got all excited for nothing.

I’m thinking Dent update

New QB name to follow

Visit update for Neal, Wright, or both

NOPE! The only linemen I don’t care for this cycle is getting traction.

It's a very rare situation that both FSU and UF may not be so good this year - usually the big 3 are all good.

If we can at least get back to the conference championship game, we will filch some players from both schools.

Dent from FSU and Zipperer and Summerall (who may have UF in their finalists list) sound about right.

These would be 3 solid additions to the '19 class.

But we're going to have to beat some real teams - not just creampuffs.

It's only going to get worse for FSU from here. This is just the beginning of their downfall and I suspect only the beginning of its impact recruiting.
