38-27 Canes

UL gets garbage TD to make it look little closer than it actually is

Miami 41, Louisville 30

Late score by Cards but expect bye-week, private team meeting Canes to show up and play more disciplined football than the past two games.

Close game (again) and will come down to a FG. Good guys win, 45-43.

I watched the games vs the P5 schools. They've played some weird games.

-Notre Dame fumbled twice inside their own 10 giving away 14 points
-GT fumbled inside their own 10 for a scoop and score. Then had a FG blocked for a TD
-UVA had a punt blocked inside their own 10 that led to 7
-SMU is probably the most sound game they played and they lost

Honestly, my takeaway from watching them is they can be very explosive at times, which is a problem for us, but outside the explosive plays there's a lot of inconsistency. They're not putting up a ton of points. The offense is only putting up 18 ppg against P5 teams, if you take away the defensive TDs.

But they capitalize off the two things Miami has had issues with. If Miami plays a clean game and even slightly fixes their defense it's a blowout. It'll be close if we play like we have the last two games.

My guess is 38-24. If we play a relatively clean game then it's 45-20.

41-20. Think we tighten things up on defense this week and get after Shough putting them in a lot of the 3rd and longs. Force a couple of turnovers and short fields.
