Agreed. He knew what he was signing up for. If we keep winning they will come but we are never gonna sell out FAMU or even any other lower tier p4 school. Our fans go for the big games.
Agree with everything you said-You probably went to the games back in the day like me -Big games ND,Penn St, FSU,UF etc sold out -The other ones no.

I've been going to games since the 80s. That game is never going to be a sell out. But I thought the attendance was really weak, given the hype around the team. There were large pockets of empty seats in the lower bowl, which should never happen.

I think this is an athletic department problem. I think they do a terrible job. I'm really fu**ing frustrated at this point with the both them and the fan base. The team deserves better.

Looking at a game like michigan and seeing the student section to me that is difference.. their undergrad is like 50k.. that alone would fill our stadium.. um depends on outsiders to fill because they have no students essentially then the lower bowl home side is mostly overpriced NFL luxury seats.. then the 10 member band takes a whole section on lower bowl which is also mostly empty..

Then if u are depending on outsiders, you compete with dolphins on same weekend for marketing dollars.. I got two drinks yesterday for $50 that's setai prices.. $16 buck for like 2 tenders.. someone taking a family will choose NFL product.. it's tough but that's what I see looking at while picture..

When I had season Tix at the obowl in late 90s and early 2000s I went to most every game and of course the product was much better. I bought again in 2016 - 2018 when we hired Richt . When Richt retired and we hired Manny 12 hours later I knew they weren't invested in the program and I stopped getting season Tix. I still go down to games from Tampa but don't really like the in-game experience (unless it's improved from a couple years ago). Just lacked energy last time I was there. I'll be down for FSU this year and I'm sure it will be great.

I get all that but I think it could be overcome if the athletic department was better at this.

It's also a reason I think we need to get into the BIG10. The ACC has TERRIBLE matchups because the teams are so weak. Playing a BIG10 schedule with create way more exciting matchups. We need to get out of the ACC.

Miami had Lebron and would have empty arena during the 1st quarter And had some games not pack.. Bron use to always call it out.

It has always mind boggled me how the Dolphins games always seem to avg better attendance than our games.. when the Canes have brought much more joy and championships to South Florida then they ever have. Fins ain’t did **** since the 90’s.

Agreed. It's going to be pretty embarrassing if we're sitting undefeated & highly ranked late in the season and the stadium looks emptier than my sack after a Tinder date.

70s/80s, NFL is a bigger product and the dolphins have sooooooo many older fans. Most of these big schools have huge student body and immediate alumni, I was on gator side last week, huge swaths of gators around. Miami is depending on blue lot crew to help fill seats, they have small student body and when they graduate they immediately leave miami..

Dolphins even when they go 0-16 will have more fans.. You can be a dolphin fan and go to games and be a UF/FSU/FIU/Famu/UCF/USF fan/alum.. You have higher chance of running into those alumni in miami than UM maybe unless in the gables itself.

Take care of Ball state next week and then avoid the let down against USF and the VT game should have good energy.

Cam not happy about Hard Rock attendance.

Neither am I. We need our own stadium. It looked bad on TV.

Ball State won’t be any more packed. And VaTech won’t be packed either since it’s Friday.

He won’t see a packed stadium supporting him until FSU which is really less than this team deserves.

The current situation at hard rock is unacceptable, amateur, and unfair to our players

Playing in a cutting edge NFL stadium, while we play in a notorious fairweather town?

A 40 year old "cutting edge" rented stadium in Miami Gardens with teal seats? You mean the same trash stadium where they hold Gator Appreciation Day at halftime of Dolphins games?

Also what the **** was wrong with the field yesterday? The grass looked like ****.

Yeah-It’s still not the greatest atmosphere but, hopefully if they end up really good it will be.
I stopped getting season tickets abut 10 years ago still go to a few games as well.

Nothing will ever replace the OB imo.
