The Canes continue to land players from the top high school programs in the nation. The latest commitment is 6’2, 280 SJ Alofaituli, who mans the pivot for Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) and ranks as the #3 IOL in the nation.

Alofaituli, a consensus Top 100 player in the nation, chose Miami over Michigan and Nebraska. He is the 16th player to join the 2025 class, joining QB Luke Nickel, RB Girard Pringle, TE Brock Schott, TE Luka Nickel, OT Jaden Wilkerson, OT Demetrius Campbell, OG Max Buchanan, OG TK Muex, DE Herbert Scroggins, LB Gavin Nix, LB Ezekiel Marcelin, LB Elijah Melendez, DB Amari Wallace, S Hylton Stubbs, DB Tim Merritt and CB Chris Ewald.

My favorite verbal thus far. It was Schott until today. @OrangeBowlMagic mentioned it earlier this week, and I agree 10000% with him when said this kid has an extremely high floor and I have a hard time seeing him not become a **** good CFB player under Mario/Mirabal’s watch. Love his no nonsense demeanor and his skill set. He will be elite in pass pro and while he won’t be a road grader type, he will be annoying and effective mf in the run game because he will win with angles, leverage, and attitude. I hope he enrolls early but either way he will 100% be our guy in 2026 barring injury. Love the Bishop Gorman pipeline we have established and Mauigoa + hopefully Seuseu both being successful here sends more Samoans our way.
