-Just exchanged messages with a person who has been in contact with Kirkland's family and said that while Miami gave Kirkland another opportunity to "commit" yesterday, he told them he would still be waiting till Signing Day, but that Kirkland still wanted Miami as an option. Well apparently Miami has a spot available for him now and he is very much back in the mix. We'll see if the drama of the past 3 days comes back to hurt Miami

Bull****...y'all think Al Golden gon get made to look like a doofus on signing day? psh imagine that

I actually think he will pick the U b/c at this point why even waste your effort with all this drama of making sure to get a scholly to sign if you didn't need it.

Doesn't sound good. However, we are in great shape with several 2014 OL prospects.

I'm sure what Pete is reporting is exactly what the Kirkland family told the source. I'm with jerzey though. The staff got some sort of definitive answer and Kirkland is stringing this out for his moment.

Has to be a silent. We wouldn't let him play us, unless he lied.

If he wasn't ready to commit to us yesterday what's going to change from now 'till Wednesday? Not sure if I buy that he just wanted more time to weigh his options, but I guess we'll soon find out.

Strange situation...

My opinion hasn't changed...if he wants in, he's got an offer...he's the #1 OL in SoFla...I take that kid every year. With that said, I still think he's a guard...one with a lot of potential, but a guard that needs some work in the short term.

Pete, I know you are reporting what you are being told, but it doesnt make sense to me. My gut (no inside info) tells me he doesnt have a scholie.

there are so many differing reports out there that I don't know what we can trust honestly. All I know is that this person I spoke to knows his family very well and has spoken to them.

Every year there are a few young bucks who think they're bigger than the game. Every year the game eats a few young bucks. Come Wednesday and not a day sooner, we'll find out if young Kirk has put himself in a bad way.

Not saying this is Kirkland's situation...but a lot of kids don't make up their mind until they make up their mind. Sometimes you just wake up one morning and you realize where you are going to go. Not always an easy call for a 17-18 year old kid.

cane

Al Golden has a signing day show on ESPN, he is not going to look like an ******* for the world to see. At every turn, you must understand, Al is pulling the strings.

He either doesn't have an offer or is already committed to UM.

Why do I get the feeling that he just wants a chance to choose from Miami so he can choose against Miami?
