Article: CaneHunt ’14: Wide Receivers (WR) | FEB 20

Miami will offer scholarships to approximately 170-200 prospects every year. Each school has a BIG Board and position boards, which list prospects by their priorities. Our “CaneHunt” boards are our attempt to “guess” the Hurricanes’ recruiting priorities. These boards can and probably will change throughout the recruiting cycle. Check back often during the year to check on the boards and get the latest updates on prospects. I hope you enjoy CaneHunt ’14.

Miami is the team to beat right now with Florida State and Alabama also in the mix. And look out for Arkansas, with Coach Randy Shannon on his trail.

Then he said he’s still committed to Miami. He has indicated that he will go to UF’s Friday Night Lights camp this summer. At this point, we should consider his commitment “soft” at best.

Tex’s THOUGHT: Our first “Home Boy Diva” of the 2014 class. I thought we wanted young men that wanted to be Canes? Doesn’t sound like he wants to be a Cane. You are either on or off the Cane Train. Make up your mind. No games this year!

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

NOTE: UM also offered Ryeshene Bronson - Dunbar (Fort Myers, FL) and Demarre Kitt - Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA). They have since indicated NO INTEREST in Miami.

FIFY. Just one little word. He's the Corch, so that's what you call him man.

IIRC Roberts was offered as a TE/H-back.

Lane, Dixon, and Holmes is the WR class I want.

Brady? Or do you all see him going Prep and signing in 2015?

Oh my the depth at WR this year is unbelievable.

Really sucks to hear that Ryeshene Bronson (UF commit) has NO INTEREST.

Would love a WR class of:
(1) WR - Ermon Lane
(2) WR - Ryeshene Bronson
(3) WR - Johnnie Dixon / Corey Holmes / Travis Rudolph

(4)WR/TE - Adley Enoicy

Ryeshene Bronson has good size but ran a 4.7 40, I think we can find a better #2 WR

Gimme lane and 2 or 3 out of the Holmes, Dixon, Rudolph, McCray, Brady, enoicy, Bronson group and I'm good

I am not sure how many of Roberts offers are actually commitable I doubt Florida would take a commit from him right now

The rest of the country can have everybody else at receiver if you give me Speedy Noil and Ermon Lane. Wouldn't care if we had to go to North Dakota to find a receiver in that case.
