Beck is a true multisport athlete. In fact, the new Miami quarterback was once committed to the Florida Gators for baseball. However, after flourishing in football, he decided to focus more on the gridiron.

In high school, Beck played third base, first base, outfield, and catcher.

The former Georgia quarterback has never lost to the Florida Gators and the Florida State Seminoles. He has a 2-0 record against the Gators and a 1-0 record against the Seminoles. His victory over the Seminoles was a dominant 63-3 victory. This year, Beck led his team to a 34-20 win over Florida, throwing for 309 yards and two touchdowns, although he also had three interceptions.

Beck and Miami WBB guard Hanna Cavinder are in a relationship. Beck and Cavinder have officially been dating since the summer of 2023, which played a role in why Beck chose to come to Miami. Cavinder is a well-rounded player who averages 32.1 minutes, 7.7 PPG, 3.9 APG and 2.8 RPG.

5. Beck's "down season" wasn't so down for most

Brad Kaaya in 2016 passed for 3,532 yards, and this season Cam Ward passed for 4,313 yards to set the single-season record.

6. Carson Beck was named Mr. Football in high school

Carson Beck was Florida's Mr. Football for Mandarin High School in Jacksonville. He transferred there as a junior. Prior to his transfer Mandarin was 2-8. Under the leadership of Beck, they won their first state title since 1990.

Don't think the baseball fact is true. Believe he was committed to Alabama or maybe both.
