2026 interior offensive lineman Canon Pickett (Tampa Wharton) had an eventful visit to Miami, as he was able to watch his brother Booker Pickett Jr. get his first tackle as a Hurricane.

“It was fun to see the Canes dominate. The crowd was pretty loud, and a couple of them noticed me, which was cool. And it was great seeing Booker get the tackle.”

Canon is feeling the love from Coach Cristobal and the Hurricanes staff.

“Cristobal is my dog! He’s definitely made me feel like a priority,” Pickett said.

Canon told me there is no leader in his recruitment as of right now, as everybody is recruiting him very well.

According to the On3 industry rankings, Pickett is a four-star prospect ranked 325th nationally, 29th among interior offensive lineman, and 57th in Florida for the 2026 season. He has received over 20 scholarship offers.

On3's Steve Wiltfong recently made a prediction for Pickett to join his brother on the Canes.
