2026 4-star WR Jase Mathews schedules visit to Miami

2026 four-star wide receiver Jase Mathews has scheduled a visit to Miami this weekend, as he informed Chad Simmons of On3.



Mathews will be on campus this weekend to meet with the coaching staff and is likely attending the Hurricanes' annual spring game, which takes place on April 12th.

Jase, a four-star prospect from Leakesville, MS, stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and had an impressive junior season at Greene County High School, recording 68 receptions for 1,138 yards, 15 touchdown catches, and contributing with a passing and a rushing touchdown.

As a sophomore, Jase competed in Track & Field, he ran a 23.70 in the 200 meters and a long jump of 20-6.

Jase is ranked as the 71st player in the nation, the 11th among wide receivers, and the 4th-best player in Mississippi.

Mathews is set to hit the road this summer, having planned visits to several Power Five schools, including Miami, Colorado, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Texas A&M.
