The family is planning to visit Coral Gables in the near future, he told CIS.
Dante has already taken unofficial visits earlier this year to Villanova and Georgia.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound combo guard from Montverde Academy is rated as the No. 42 player in the class of 2025, the No. 6 combo guard, and the No. 10 player in the state of Florida.
Dante plays for the Nightrydas Elite in the AAU circuit, and his head coach, Andrew Moran, is expected to join the Canes staff. He mentioned to CIS that this move could influence his recruitment.
He is averaging 11.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game at Montverde Academy this season, shooting 48 percent from the field and 37 percent from three-point range.
