This is correct. You don't HAVE TO. But what if that's what you pursue? If you go heavily after 1-year players, would you say that the more accurate description is "win now" or "building through the Portal"?
Honest question.
You make a good point on OL/DL. High risk/high stress position that may give too much "blue-chip" emphasis to HS kids who are just bigger than everyone at age 17. Plus, lots of injuries to those guys.
You don't build a whole house with 1-year patches.
We're not "building" anything with Cam Ward, Damien Martinez, and Sam Brown. We're trying to win in 2024.
I'm in favor of winning in 2024, but at some point we are going to turn to Emory and Luke, Fletch and CJ, and JoJo and Ny.
Again, that is not building, it's patching.
It's a helluva lot of 1-year patching, but still.
And I don't think anyone ever said "don't bring in a QB, WR, RB, 2 DTs, CB", etc. Maybe RB. A lot of us thought we were good at RB before all the injuries.
Of course not. You are a clown who makes clown arguments in an effort to start fights with people and give the false impression that you are a knowledgeable poster. I don't expect anything else from you.
K. We coo?
Typical ignorance from you.
We are not "building through the Portal" when we take a bunch of 1-year guys.
Every time I think you've hit your low-point of stupidity, you find a new depth.
Not only are your attempts to stir up fights pathetic, but terribly weak as well.
