I agree with you. There’s no world where the Big 12 makes sense. And I’ve had no indication whatsoever, on what I’ve been told on this topic, that it’s a realistic option.

It’s more rumors, and it’s info I’ve seen out there before. I’d be very surprised if any announcement is made this summer.

Stanford isn’t going to the BIG before us. Also, if Stanford is somehow going, it means we’ve got a spot too. We did them a huge favor in greasing the skids to get them into the ACC. They did the same with AAU for us. We have a good relationship with them, they won’t ***** us over.

I don't see it either. We need a candidate with far higher credentials than he has. The whispers are there though.

There's been whispers about Rudy wanting Frenk's job. Do I think he'd get it? No. But I wouldn't count him out either.

Rudy's a guy who has, pretty quickly, accumulated a lot of power at UM. He is one of the guy's driving this process for us.

I've said it before on this thread, but I promise you that "staying in the ACC" is not an option. That's not going to happen. We're gonna make the jump as soon as we can. For all their faults, admin has not sat around on this issue specifically.

There's a lot reasons why people don't trust admin. I understand. On this issue I do, because there are some highly competent people driving this process.
